This research-catalog site may collect an email address if you subscribe to the newsletter. Subscription uses a proof-of-work challenge (Altcha) to reduce bot signups. We store the address to send catalog updates you opted into.

We do not sell subscriber lists. You can request removal by contacting the operator of this deployment. Server logs may retain standard request metadata for a limited time for operations and abuse prevention.

This site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-EWGPP1LF1E) to understand traffic. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers; see Google’s privacy policy.

Separately, we keep a first-party visitor trace on this server: page path, catalog surface, and which data store that page typically reads (for example blog.db). We store a day-salted hash of the IP address — not the raw IP — and we do not set a tracking cookie for this log. It is used only to operate and improve this research catalog.
