Lock the situation in a Product Contract before anyone generates a screen.

Produces: Brief (invented, unknowns named), sourced findings, synthesis, critique, Product Contract
Gate: Every contract line tagged; `check-sources.sh` clean; critique on a different model

Purpose

Replace the client’s stated problem with an evidence-backed problem definition. Monday is knowledge, not design.

What happens

Write a deliberately incomplete brief and a prior belief. Fan out six isolated research threads. Synthesise, then attack with a different model. Write the Product Contract from the corrected synthesis.

Skip

No sketch, no flow, no component. Do not start research before the operator accepts the brief.
