Observability makes agent behavior inspectable: prompts, tool calls, latency, cost, and failure modes.
It is how you tell a stalled approval from a slow one, and how you debug a wrong tool call without reading production logs by hand. Complements Evaluations (judgment) and Frameworks (where spans originate).
