A Company Model / Memory OS treats the persistent representation of the company as the primary computational substrate. Instead of beginning with an agent, a workflow, or a user request, it assumes the organization needs one durable model of people, projects, decisions, records, relationships, history, and operating context — and that humans and agents both work against that model.
This is not ordinary AI memory (chat history, RAG, per-agent scratchpads). Those help an AI remember information; they do not necessarily create a governed, addressable representation of the company. Here, objects have stable identities, relations are traversable, history and provenance are first-class, and machine work refers back to the same structures over time.
Anchor: Dominir. Defining question: What does the company know, what is connected, what is current, and what context should humans and agents operate against?
Shared Operational Truth needs a substrate. Continuous ops (supplier over months, contract↔project↔decision, role changes, stale vs current) fail if context is ephemeral. Workflow answers “what steps”; company model answers “what entities exist and what is believed about them.”
